At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Saturday, August 25, 2007 Sandra M. Gauthier-Neil of Bayfield in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of Donald A. Neil. Dear daughter and daughter-in-law of Betty Gauthier of Maitland Manor, Goderich and the late Robert Gauthier, and Lulu Neil of Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich and the late Alton Neil. Dear sister of Lorrie Auty of Winnipeg. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother-in-law Dr. Tony Auty. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday evening 7-9 PM where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 29th at 11AM with Rev. Charles Love officiating. Cremation with interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. Donations to United Way of Huron County would be appreciated by the family.

I have been trying to find Sandra for a few years now, only searching under her married name,
An actress in “Blue Bloods” reminded me of Sandra, whom I knew as Marlene Gautier from our high school days, and later when she decided to go by her first name, Sandra , then Sandra Gautier-Neil after her marriage to Don.
So very sorry to hear of her passing.
She was a special and dear friend and I will miss her greatly.
She was so very engaged in life, thoroughly dedicated as a teacher and loved/was devoted to her family.
Please pass on this note to her widower, Don, and her sister, Lorraine.
