RYAN: Peacefully, at Stratford General Hospital, Stratford, on Sunday, February 23, 2020, Thomas “Tommy” Patrick Ryan, of Stratford, age 66. Loved father and father-in-law of Sandee and Jason Guindon of Sturgeon Falls, ON., Peter Ryan and his wife Jillian Wood of Nelson, B.C. Cherished grandpa of Makenzie Guindon and Quinn Guindon. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Pat Murphy of Stratford, Joe and Lynn Ryan of Mount Carmel, Angela Ryan of London, Kate Ryan of Grand Bend, Hugh and Diane Ryan of Mount Carmel, Kristy and Allan Stewart of St. Marys and Bridget Ryan and Greg Petrie of Erin. Remembered by his canine companion Treena, the mother of his children Kelly McNichol and his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Gerard and Mary Eileen (McCann) Ryan, sisters Ann Ryan-Murphy, Mary-Ellen Ryan-Buttle and brother Vincent J Ryan. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 3 to 7 p.m., with a Knights of Columbus, (Stratford Kilroy Council 1431) Service at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow, with Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Cemetery. “Always leave Em smiling”. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority or the Lions Guide Dogs would be appreciated by the family.
