RYAN: Peacefully, at Sarnia General Hospital, on Wednesday, February 26, 2003, Thomas Gerard Ryan of R. R. #3, Dashwood (Mt. Carmel), in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Eileen (McCann) Ryan (1999). Loved father of Anne Ryan-Murphy and Pat Murphy of London, Joe and Lynn Ryan of Mt. Carmel, Angela Ryan of London, Tom Ryan Jr. of Stratford, Kate Ryan of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Hugh and Diane Ryan of Mt. Carmel, Kristy and Allan Stewart of St. Marys and Bridget Ryan and Greg Petrie of Erin. Loving grandfather of Charlene and Rob Eagleson, Valerie Ryan and fiancé Craig Williams, Blake and Mary-Joe Ryan, Aaron, Margorie and John-Paul Buttle, Sandee and Peter Ryan, Katie and Ryan Stewart, Austin, Benjamin and Jacob Ryan and Laurenne and Madelaine Petrie. Dear brother of Sr. Mary Ryan of Ursuline Order, Mrs. Elizabeth McCarthy, both of Windsor, Sr. Margaret Ryan, P.B.M. of Regina, Sask., and brother-in-law of Theresa Ryan of Mt. Carmel. Predeceased by daughter Mary-Ellen Ryan-Buttle, son Vincent J. Ryan and brother Michael Ryan. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers at the Funeral Home Thursday at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, on Friday, February 28, 2003 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Paul J. Baillargeon celebrant. Cremation with interment later in Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated. Tom was a 4th Degree member, Knights of Columbus Brother Andre Assembly, Seaforth and founding member of Council #8480 Mount Carmel.
