I was sorry to read this news of Helen’s passing. I believe she taught every one of us “Ross” kids at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School. She was a fantastic teacher and well respected. I always enjoyed a wee chat or warm hello after Sunday mass in Exeter in these latter years. A wonderful roll model when it came to faith, grace & strength. Sending out my heartfelt condolences to family. Carol (Ross) Coleman

Sincere condolences to all of Helen’s family. She was an absolutely wonderful woman and friend.I met Helen at Curves and through our love of sewing had many great conversations about current and planned projects. When Curves closed we continued our chats with monthly lunches and sometimes card games with Joyce McDonald and Doris Giddings. We were never at a loss for conversations, show and tell with pictures of the grands and great grands for Helen and whatever else we could think of to do, like the visits to the slots in Clinton. We had some great outings and we will really miss her! Our lives were truly blessed to have had her in them. Rest In Peace my friend.Much love,Joyce,Doris and Bev

Sincere sympathies on the passing of your mom. I remember her as a feisty lady who expected the best from her students. Her “Donnelly” stories were second to none. My son Chris had Mrs Ryan for a kindergarten teacher and he just loved her. She was a strong advocate for education and those little children shone under her tutelage. She was a pillar in the community and will be missed.
