At Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday January 21, 2021 formerly of Clinton at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Sheila (Donaldson) Rutherford. Loving father of Barrie and Donna, BJ and Teri and Brian and Carrie and the late Bonnie Riley. Dear stepfather of Andy Hancox and Christine, Jeff and Bonnie Hancox, and Shelley and Kevin Harris. Ed will be missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At Ed’s request cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth (519-527-1390).

My condolences to the family. Ed was an amazing man. When I moved to Mississauga in 1998 from my small community, he become my ‘adopted Dad’ while I lived in his building. He was a great Santa to everyone and we had a lot of laughs! It helped me survive the big city. We kept in touch at Christmas until he moved to the home and I didn’t have his address. I will miss his smile.
