Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home, London, on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the age of 92. Cherished mother of David Stebbins, Marie Pearson Cook (Doug Cook), and Bruce Stebbins. Proud grandma of Shane Harlow (Jamie Harlow), Casey Scott, and Ashley Freedon Hurst. Loving great-grandmother of Drayson Scott, Ethan Harlow, Zariyah Scott, and Alaiyah Scott. Survived by her sister, Anna Dubreuil. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Gary Stebbins; her parents George and Lila Rotteau; and her siblings and siblings-in-law: George and Pauline Rotteau, Samuel and Bernice Rotteau, Mary Hierons, Peter Rotteau, Tudor Rotteau, Joseph and Ann Rotteau, James Rotteau, Ed Dubreuil, and Alice and James Salter.
Lena will be warmly remembered for her love of music, dancing, stylish high heels, gardening, and her signature lipstick. She was known for her vibrant personality and feisty spirit. Lena treasured her family above all else.
Keeping with Lena’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Pinehill Cemetery, 8560 Ridge Road, THEDFORD on Saturday, August 15th at 1 PM. Following the graveside service, a celebration of Lena’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 278, 42 Nelson Street, THEDFORD.
Anyone who knew Lena, knew that she never left home without her lipstick on. In true Lena fashion, the family invites all ladies to sport pink lipstick in her memory.
Donations in Lena’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton or Community Living Sarnia-Lambton.
