ROOME: Suddenly and unexpectedly, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Strathroy, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, John Peter Roome of Grand Bend and formerly of Halton Hills, age 69. Beloved husband and soul mate of Kim Mary Walker, loved father and father-in-law of Jason and Dana Roome of Hamilton. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Stephen Roome and his spouse Linda Reid of Victoria, B.C. and brother-in-law of Lois Holt of Belleville. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents John Frederick and Christine (Hodge) Roome, brothers-in-law Victor Holt, Bruce Walker and John Walker. At Peter’s request cremation will take place. A Memorial Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held later. (time, date and location to be announced). T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood entrusted with arrangements.
