Peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter with family by his side on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of the late Valerie (McCann) Rohde for over 29 years. Cherished father of Sonya Lawrence (Wayne Martin), and Cheyenne Mosurinjohn. Proud grandpa of Justin Martin, Damien Willert, and Vivian Willert. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Doug and Judy Rohde, Glenn and Marilyn Rohde. Fondly remembered by the McCann family and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Rhoda (Thomson) Rohde.
Calvin was a proud owner operator for 43 years. He was a dedicated Mack man his whole career. He hauled packaged salt out of Goderich. He worked for Laidlaw transport from 78 – 91 and from 91 – 2021, he worked for Jim Scott Enterprises. When he wasn’t working, he could be found cruising around in his 2005 Mustang GT, a beautiful car he treated himself to for his 50th birthday.
Keeping with Calvin’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
