Beloved husband of Patricia Winifred (Lloyd) Rogers. Loving father of John Rogers of South Porcupine, Chris Rogers and his wife Carole of Rockwood, Mark Rogers and his wife Cathy of South Porcupine. Loving grandfather of Steve, Amanda, Ryan and the late Michael (1998). Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joyce and Bill Gagnon of Florida, Diane Carpenter of Sarnia, Fred Rogers of North Bay, Ron Graves of New Liskeard, Sydney and Moe Ouellette of North Bay, Marvyn and Anne Lloyd of Salmon Arm, BC. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by sisters Jackie Graves, Shirley Sutherland, parents Raymond and Florence (Standing) Rogers. Visitation at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood (519-237-3532), Friday, September 17, 2004 commencing at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 12 noon. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Lorne was a member of the South Porcupine Lions Club, Dome Mines Quarter Century Club, Timmins C.N.I.B., Grand Bend United Church, Grand Bend and Area Medical Centre Fund Raising Committee and Probus Club.
