RISI: Jo-Ellen (McFalls) of London, formerly of Lucan

Passed away peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital, surrounded by family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 62. Beloved wife and best friend of Mike Risi. Dearest daughter of Margaret and the late Glenn McFalls. Cherished mother of Krista Hodgins, Korey and Kadi Hodgins, and Kassidy and Jessica Hodgins. Loving step-mother of Jessica and Andrew Nolan, and Jonathan Risi. Proud grandmother of Josh, Kloe, Kaine, Logan, Bentley, Kylee, Piper, and Charlotte.

Jo-Ellen loved people, her family in particular. She cherished the family celebrations, birthdays and holiday gatherings with her entire family. My sincere condolence’s. It is hard to put into words the feelings of your loss.
Jo Ellen’s passing brings many tears of disbelief and sadness, but also the smiles and laughter of the wonderful memories she has left in our hearts forever.
A couple of years ago I tagged along on a fantastic golf vacation in Tucson with Mike, Jo Ellen and Marg. Our days were filled with golf and a side trip to Tombstone (dancing to country music) and visiting her relatives, our evenings were having a few beers and reminiscing, during which I came to understand what a great friend she was and her devotion to Mike, family and her many friends.
In recent times, MB and I will always hold dear the exciting golf matches, the never ending fun, laughter and the odd beer around the many campfires we enjoyed together while camping.
You are in our hearts forever.
So, we give you a big hug , knowing that many familiar angels have open arms and are waiting to comfort you.

To all of Jo-Ellen’s loved ones,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Jo-Ellen. We had reconnected after meeting up at Ilderton Fair a few years ago and I had enjoyed a few social outings since then, with both she and Mary Lou. Jo-Ellen loved to laugh, and was the same fun loving girl I knew so many years ago when we were at Medway. Her love of her family was evident. She was so happy and proud to be a Mom and grandmother. I am sorry for all of you to have lost this one of a kind special little spark in all of your lives. My sincere condolences to all of you. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with you all.

    Mike, Marg and Family
We are so so sorry for your loss. May your memories lighten your heart a little during this very sad time. Jo was a special lady. You all are about to ride on the emotional roller coaster, let your feelings come out as they need too, tears, laughter, sadness, anger, all of it.
Jo will be missed by a great number of people, she tried to stay in contact with everyone that crossed her path. She always had an open heart, hugs and an ear to listen to the good and bad. Her infectious laugh will ring in our ears for a very long time. We all have fond memories and stories to tell.
May you Rest In Peace Jo, you are now an Angel, watching over us, until we meet again.
