REWOLDT: Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Monday, October 23, 2023, Dieter Willi Herman Rewoldt, of Grand Bend, formerly of Stratford and Orangeville, age 84. Beloved husband of Darlene Elizabeth (Lockrey) Rewoldt. Loved father of the late Dale Rewoldt (1992), Kimberley Rewoldt of Cambridge and the late Kimberley Reimer (2020). Cherished grandpa his grandchildren Doug (Amber), Dave, Brittney, Devon and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Norbert (Ulla) Rewoldt and Christel Quitzke both of Germany. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Max and Erna (Wirbs) Rewoldt. At Dieter’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

I am sad that I recently found out about Dieter’s passing. I lived in Grand Cove for a number of years and enjoyed playing cards with both he and Darlene. Lots of laughs and kidding around in that wonderful group of people. I know he will be missed and even though he had been in ill health for some time, it is never easy when the time comes to lose them. Darlene – stay strong and be well.
