    February 21, 2021 at 8:18 PM

    Dear Joe,
I am so sorry. It was obvious to everyone that you and Carolyn were best friends and I always admired the relationship you shared. I know the two of you have made many wonderful memories. For me, there are so many visions that come to mind: of Carolyn dressing up, her energy & enthusiasm playing games, her beautiful smile, her sparkling eyes, her laughter…truly, she was one of a kind! She will be so missed by your entire Rau family; what a special sister-in-law they gained many years ago.
To Marilyn, who has shared such a close friendship with Carolyn for so many years and who played a part in many of her shenanigans.
And to the Bedour Family: you’ve lost an amazing sister, sister-in-law and aunt, who loved her family fiercely. It never seems fair that the beautiful souls leave us far too early. I know you will each feel her absence immensely, especially when you gather together. My heart goes out to each of you and I’m sending much love to all.
    With my deepest sympathy,
    Pam

Larry and I want to offer you our heartfelt sympathy.
Carolyn was always such a giving and friendly person. I remember after our house fire 31 years ago and she was working at the Co-op that the boys went in with Larry and she gave them each a toy which they both have to this day. Then I had the privilege of working with her for almost 9 years. During that time I again witnessed her caring and giving attitude. We had many good times together. She will be missed. Dear Joe & Family,
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Carolyn. She was a lover of life and enthusiastically shared this love with all those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence. Although it is always difficult to lose a loved one, take comfort knowing that her pain has ended and that she is now in the best place; in the loving hands of our Lord.
We extend our sincerest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
