Suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Sunday, October 22, 2017 of Huron Park and formerly of Clinton in his 64th year. Loving husband of Bernadette Ratz. Predeceased by his son Robert John Ratz Jr. Dear step-father of Dallas-Marie Carter and Shawn Gossman of Exeter, and Elizabeth Jean at home. Dear grandfather of Elissa Plant and Madison Gossman. Dear son of Eleanor Goertzen of AB and brother of Jim Goertzen of AB, Harold Ratz of Kitchener, Mathew Goertzen of AB, and Sarah Anne Goertzen of AB. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) one hour prior to the funeral service that will be held on Friday, October 27th at 2 PM with Pastor Dan Steadman officiating. Cremation to follow.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
