RATZ: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, Friday evening, October 9, 2009, Dorothy Alberta (Gammie) Ratz, age 77, of Shipka. Loving mother of Gregory Ratz and Johanna of Grand Bend and Susan Ratz and Marc of London. Devoted and enthusiastic grandmother of Ashley and Lauren Mueller. Also remembered by her brother-in-law Eric Hackett of Lucknow and many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her brother John Gammie and sister Helen Hackett. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment Service for family and friends will follow at Greenhills Cemetery, Lucknow, Wednesday at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Celiac Association, Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Dorothy was an active member of the Grand Bend Women’s Institute and the Zurich Quilters’ Guild.
