Surrounded by his family, Ron passed away at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the age of 72. Loving father of Adam Pullman, Alan Pullman and Becki Dries, April and Paul Tremblay. Cherished grandpa of Kai, Dylan; Everlea, Kellan; Daphne (James). Dear twin brother of Roy and his wife Nancy Pullman and uncle of Andrew and Jennifer Pullman and Allison and Geoff Watts. Predeceased by his supportive partner Lynn Langlois (2020). Fondly remembered by Dominque Langlois, and Pierre Langlois. Predeceased by his parents Cleve and Mary Pullman.
Ron and his twin brother Roy were adopted at 10 ½ months old by Cleve and Mary Pullman. They gave the boys a loving home and wonderful life on their farm at the corner of the Roman Line and Whalen Line.
Ron particularly loved farm life and thrived as a young boy working the farm and participating in community sports while making many lifelong friends. He was a gifted track and field athlete while at Medway high school, running and winning in regional and provincial events.
In 2017 he suffered a near death experience with a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurism but after a lengthy recovery was able to continue farming and enjoy a good quality of life.
In recent years, despite worsening physical challenges, it was his friends who sustained him through his many ups and downs. Affectionately known as “Rocky” by his early morning coffee mates, Ron always maintained his positive outlook and his love of a good joke.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Friday, September 12th from 11:30 – 12:30, where Ron’s memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM with a luncheon to follow. A private interment will be held at St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

To all who loved and will miss Ron we send our sympathy.
I(Alice) remember the day Ron and Roy came with Mary and Cleve to Exeter to our house for a meal….the day they arrived in this part of the country, where Ron spent most of his life.It was pretty exciting…and a surprise..twin boys!Oh my gosh…they were both so darn cute!walking,pottie trained at 10 and a half months old…no diapers….(mothers of today..can you imagine?)Mary and Cleve were so proud of those boys, and remained that way for the remainder of their life!Hopefully you will meet up with them ,and Ron…there will be no chores for you to help your Dad with.Ron was ever so fortunate to have a special brother Roy beside him till the end and always saying good things about his children whom he loved deeply.
Rest in peace Ron…you deserve to!
Love from cousins.

Martha and Bob Heywood
Ron “Rocky” was one of our favourite regulars at Heywood’s in the 80’s, morning, afternoon and evening. He was indeed lots of fun, quick wit and not a mean bone in his body. He was an inspiration as he fought on through his health issues, all the time maintaining his great sense of humour. I will miss Ron .

I can remember doing a proud 71 second quarter mile at Medway Highschool track practice. Then Ron took to the field and most humbly did a 53 second lap. He was a very nice and calm fellow.

Roy and Nancy and the rest of Ron’s family;
Please accept our deepest condolences. Ron was a kind, considerate and most helpful person. He cleared our driveway of snow for many years, helping us to get out the lane in time for work. Ron always enjoyed a good chat and had lots of information to share. When he moved from the farm he loved, we missed his vehicle driving by each day and hearing that familiar horn beep when we were in the yard. Ron will be missed by family as well as friends. God Bless
