Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 of Exeter, formerly of Saint John, New Brunswick, at the age of 54. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Mike and Karen Porter of Hensall, Gary and Heather Porter, and Patrick and Charlotte Porter all of Saint John, New Brunswick. Step brother of Patricia Jones of Sarnia, Carl Jones of Sussex, New Brunswick, Catherine Cole, Diane Hayes, Marilyn Merrill, Cindy Cobham, and all of their families of Saint John, New Brunswick. Kevin will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Donald Burnett, and Howard Porter, and sister Michelle. Mike, Gary, and Pat would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, and nurses at South Huron Hospital, for their love, care, and compassion, along with Pat and George Skee and family for all of their support and care during Kevin’s journey. Kevin worked for 26 years for Exeter Machine/Gnutti Carlo Canada, he will be missed by all of his co-workers over these years.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at the Exeter Legion, 316 William Street, Exeter, on Saturday, June 1st from 1 – 4 PM. Kevin will then be taken home to Saint John, New Brunswick, where a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation with interment Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220).
For those who wish, donations to South Huron Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee.
