At LHSC – University Hospital, London on Friday, December 6, 2019, of Lucan and formerly of Owen Sound, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Jackie (Montague) Playford. Much loved dad of Matt and Erin Playford. Number one fan of his grandchildren, Bronwyn and Lachlan. Dear brother of Dale Moyse, Jerry, and Kevin. Predeceased by his brothers Kerry, Perry and Jim. Jiggs will be sadly missed by all of the inlaws, outlaws, and extended family in the Playford, Montague, and Patterson families, along with the friends whose lives he touched over the years.
Cremation with family interment at St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye, and celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to head to the rink or the ball park, and enjoy a game or two with your loved ones in Jiggs’ memory.
