PENHALE: Peacefully, at his residence, on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, Clifford “Cliff” Harold Penhale of Dashwood, age 85. Beloved husband of Doris K. (Willert) Penhale. Remembered by Nancy and Allan Regier of Zurich. Cherished Grandpa of Gary and Susan Smith of Aylmer, Susanne and Greg McCarthy of Dashwood. Special Great-Grandpa of Samantha Smith (Andrew), James Smith, Sarah Smith, Ashley McCarthy (Ellay), Alexis McCarthy (Jakob), Nicole McCarthy and Vanessa McCarthy. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Ettie Mae (Webber) Penhale, and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Milton and Gladys Willert, Alvin and Edith Willert, Ada and Bob Newton. Cliff was the Dashwood Fire Department Dispatcher for many years and he worked for Hoffman’s with the Funeral Home and Ambulance Service for over 30 years. A Private Family Funeral will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Interment Calvary United Church Goshen Line Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Jessica’s House Residential Hospice or South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
