A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2025 at Grand Cove Estates Clubhouse, time and date to be announced. T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood entrusted with arrangements.

Jean Claude was a man of many talents, a self starter and up for new challenges. After schooling he started his career as a butcher, working in several supermarkets as the department manager, to owning his own successful butcher store, Kings Meats in Sudbury,  Ontario, where he also taught himself to read and write English.   Being a natural at sales, he switched careers to automotive sales, working for the #1 automotive company at the time, General Motors. Over his 35 years with GM, he helped hundreds of customers drive off the lot in new or used vehicles, helping them realize a dream, for many their first car, or upgrading to their next vehicle. He held positions of salesperson to sales manager to owner of his own sales lot, Sunnyside Auto sales. While with GM  he received numerous sales awards, including the prestigious eniment sales sector club, elite seller and grande master seller, sweeping all categories, bronze, silver and gold.

Jean Claude was a charismatic, outgoing, social person, who had a passion for power boating. He was a member of several different Yacth clubs including a director for the Toronto Yatch Clud. Yvonne, his family and friends enjoyed many cruises and good times throughout the Greater Lakes.

Jean Claude also had a competitive nature enjoying challenges at games such as bridge, poker, and billards.  He also enjoyed physical activities including alpline skiing, snowmobiling, ball room dancing and karate, where he earned his black belt. By far though,  his greatest achievements were the connections and relationships he made along his life journey of being a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle and a great friend to many. His love for life, his strong character and his English accent will be greatly missed.  Rest in peace.
