
PARÉ: It is with deep sadness that the family of Wayne Richard Paré, of Grand Bend, formerly of Thorndale, announces his passing on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in his 70th year. Wayne passed away at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital, London, CCTC Unit with his family by his side. Forever loved long time partner and Best Friend of Judith “Judy” Ann Annett. Loving father and father-in-law of Tammy Annett-McGee and David Rusch of Tillsonburg, Michael Paré and Jenn Bonk of London and Shawn and Krista Paré of Ilderton. Cherished Papa of Tyler McGee and Danielle, Chase McGee and Amanda, Chelsey Pate and Julian, the late Ashley Knox (2020), Janaya Paré and Hailey Paré. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late David Paré, the late Gary Paré, the late Darcy Paré, Stacey and Gloria Paré, Guy Paré, Jack and Leslie Harris, Susan Wilson and Colin Taylor, Debbie and Brian Eckinstein, Verna Jones. Fondly remembered by his longtime best friend Wayne Carter and his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Evelyn (Ruxton) Paré. At Wayne’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 317, 311 Oakland Avenue, London on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 3 to 6 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Wayne was an employee with the City of London for 35+ years as a heavy equipment operator. The Family would like to express a special Thank You to Claire at CCTC Unit – London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
