OTTERBEIN: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa, Saturday, December 31, 2011, Lloyd Samuel Otterbein, formerly of Kitchener and Zurich, age 92. Beloved husband of the late Helen Dorothy Clara (Hoffmann) Otterbein (2008). Predeceased by his son Wayne Currie Erwin Otterbein (2009) and daughter-in-law Judy (Kaminska) Otterbein (2006). Loved grandfather of Jim Otterbein of Exeter, Dennis and Cheryl Otterbein of Mount Forest and Carla DeVore of Clinton. Loving great-grandpa of Owen Otterbein, Kate Otterbein, Ashley Otterbein, Rileah DeVore and Shealyn DeVore. Predeceased by his parents Edmund and Mary (Kissner) Otterbein and sister Gladys Shoemaker. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday, 2 to 5 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Zurich, Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Nadine Schroeder-Kranz officiating. Interment St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Exeter Villa or a charity of your choice would be appreciated (By Cheques only). Lloyd and Helen were very active in the Barn Dance Historical Society and had celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in 2007.
