Julie, I am so sorry about you are going through right now. It must make you feel better, that in the final last weeks of your mom’s life, you tried everything in your power to make her feel more comfortable and happier. Having her in your home with you, will leave you comforting memories forever. You should have no regrets, or guilt in what you tried to do for your mom. She knew you were only trying to make the quality of her life better for her, which you did. She is now at peace with your dad, and the two of them together is likely something she has dreamt about for a long time, since he passed away so many years ago.
Julie, you did the best anyone could have for her, and seeing your love for her, was better then any medicine could have been. I am thinking of you my friend, and sending many good thoughts your way, If you need my help, you have my number, day or night. Hugs to you and yours.
