Edward Charles Yoe Mundle, fondly known to many as Eddie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late D. Jean (Allen) Mundle. Eddie was the father of Gary, grandfather to Victoria (Karvan) and Oliver, and great-grandfather to Adam and Idris. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Predeceased by his parents and siblings, Eddie’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Eddie spent much of his later life in Goderich, where he enjoyed the simple joys that brought him the most happiness. Fishing out on the lake while sharing stories, enjoying fish and chips at the Park House, sipping a whiskey and ginger ale while spinning records on his stereo, or watching an old western movie. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Eddie could strike up a conversation with anyone and was remembered for his kindness, generosity, and ability to make people laugh, right up until the very end.
Cremation has taken place. A small graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of donations, please honor him by making time for the things and the people you love. Time does not wait, but love and memories endure.
