MORLEY: William George

January 5, 2025 By 9 Condolences

MORLEY: William George

MORLEY: “Evidence of a life well lived is found in those who love you.” With profound sadness, the family of William George Morley (of Grand Bend, formerly of Bayfield and Woodstock) announce his heavenly passing on January 5, 2025. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Jean, her children Cindy and Marc Gelinas, Laurie and Mike Morrison and their families. Predeceased by his beloved Betty (2019), Bill was especially proud of and loyally dedicated to their family:  Michele and John (Quinn, Zane, Bram), Chris and Michele (Alexis, Logan, Hope), Steven and Cindi (Braedon, Colton), Stephanie (Jesse, Jasmine, Jeremy) and the “greats”. Known as an avid musician, golfer, traveler, snack maker and karaoke king, Bill played his role as husband, father, granddad, friend most brilliantly. He was easy to love and our lives were more joyful because of him. According to Bill’s wishes, there will be no service.  Rather, we encourage you to raise a glass often to his shining spirit and to live life with humility and kindness. Arrangements entrusted with the T. Harry & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Memorial donations may be made (directly) to Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter or Diabetes Canada.

    To Billโ€™s Family
We are so sad to hear of Billโ€™s passing and send our deepest sympathy to his family. Bill was a quiet, congenial, knowledgeable, kind coworker at Timberjack and IPM in Woodstock. It was always enjoyable talking to Bill and visiting him and Betty in Bayfield.
May all the wonderful memories be comforting to you.

    Dearest Jean,

I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet both of you through your shared love of travel. Bill was such a beautiful person and always a pleasure to work with. Our world is a little sadder without his presence.

    Sending you so much love
    Gail at Ellison

Thank you for sharing. R.I.P. Bill. We live in Connecticut and we met Bill and Betty in Barbados in 2018 and became instant friends! We met Bill again in Barbados the year after Betty passedโ€ฆโ€ฆthat was the last time we saw or heard from him. He was truly a kind and humble human being and will be forever missed. GOD BLESS all for comfort at this time. Vinny and Lovey, Doug and Bev.
