MOMMERSTEEG: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, Adrianus Johannes “Edward” “Eddy” Mommersteeg, of Grand Bend, age 87. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (Koolen) Mommersteeg. Loved father and father-in-law of Ken Mommersteeg of Sylvan, Ron and Pauline Mommersteeg of Strathroy, Roberta and Darryl Robinson of Ailsa Craig. Cherished grandpa of Kaleb, Kyra, Steven, Noah, McKenna and Avery. Fondly remembered by the Mommersteeg and Koolen Families. Predeceased by his parents Marten and Antonia (Van Esch) Mommersteeg. At Eddy’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. A Graveside Service with an Alhambra Algarva #168 Caravan Honour Guard, for Family and Friends will be held at the Pinery Cemetery, Klondyke Road, Grand Bend on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with the Deacon John Lammers officiating. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly to the charity) to the International Order of Alhambra or the South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
