Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, June 4, 2009, Bruce Murray Moir, of Hensall, passed away in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Janet (Elliott) Moir (1995). Dear father of Garry and Joanne, Randall and Darren and Tracy all of Hensall. Loving grandfather of Danny, SherriLyn; Taylor, Trystan and Callie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Dorothy Moir, Betty Sangster, Gerald and Blanche Moir, Gladys and Dalton Skinner, Margaret and Frank Varley, Harry and Bev Moir, Patsy Moir, Robert and Jean Moir and John Moir and friend Cathie. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Olive (Wolff) Moir, sister Lila Peebles and her husband John, brother Ron Moir and brother-in-law Bob Sangster.
Visitation in the Hensall Visitation Chapel, 79 King St. Hensall on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 6, 2009 in the Hensall United Church at 11 a.m. Rev. Les Hills officiating. Interment Hensall Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, South Huron Hospital, Exeter or a charity of one’s choice.
