Passed away peacefully at his home, with his family by his side on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Carol (Allison) Mills for 61 years. Cherished father of Mike and Belinda Mills, Laurie and Mouse Dolmage, and Jody and Jim Thompson. Adored grandpa of Stephen and Joey; Lindsay and Rich, Sarah and Braydon; Sarah and Jacob and poppy to Rory; and Eila. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Garland and Nancy Mills, Jean Mills, Ruth and Gary Lambier, Pat and the late Willard Shackleton, David and Deb Mitchell, Karen and Joe Haas, Dorothy Babbage, Andrea Allison and Tom Quann. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers and sister Milo, Bob, Doreen Caldwell, Keith, Don, and in- laws Jim Allison, Sue Quann, and Rick Allison.
In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, his body has been donated to science. A private family service has been held. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth (519-527-1390).
Donations to St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation – Ivey Eye Institute, Myasthenia Gravis Society of Canada, or St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation – Veterans Care Program would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
