It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Elizabeth (Dixon) Miller, born February 19,1941, at the age of 85. Pauline passed peacefully at Jessica’s house in Exeter, Ontario on Tuesday June 30, 2026, after a brief battle with recurrent cancer. Beloved wife of Arthur (predeceased August 2011) for 48 years, they built their home in Zurich in 1963 and filled it with wonderful memories. She brought much light into our lives and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and neighbours. Pauline will be remembered for her sense of humour, her thoughtfulness, generosity and of course her love of cooking and baking. Her butter tarts have always been a favourite request by many. She always thought of others before herself and brought smiles to many people in her life. We would like to thank South Huron Hospital, the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff with special thanks to Sherri Penn and the staff at Jessica’s house for their compassion and care. Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, flowers and visits from many.

Loving Nana to Katlyn Beattie and her spouse Luke Roelofs of Arlington Texas, Joseph Beattie of Sarnia, Jackson Beattie of Grand Bend, Natalie Miller and fiancée Kevin McLeod of Ottawa, and Ryan Miller of Ottawa. Survived by her sister, Mary Hogan and sisters-in-law Marilyn Dixon, Barb Whiting and Labelle Dixon and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Hiram and Bill and sister Shirley and in laws, Eileen, Bob, Neil, Helen, Lloyd, Tony, Jack, Jim, and Norm.
We welcome you to join us at Hessenland Inn and Schatz Winery, Garden Room, 72981 Highway 21, Zurich (St. Joseph) on Friday, July 10, 2026. Visitation will be held from 1 – 2:30, followed by a celebration of life from 2:30 – 4 PM, with words of remembrance at 3 PM.
