Peacefully, at Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich, on Sunday October 5, 2008, Hazel Jean (Uttley) McEwen, formerly of Hensall, passed away in her 93rd year. Loved wife of the late Hugh McEwen (1995). Sadly missed by her son Malcolm, her daughter Katharine and her friend Richard Taylor, and her grandson Byron all of R.R. 2 Hensall Dear sister sister-in-law of Ross and Jay Uttley, Miles and Donna Uttley, Goldie Gilmore, Edith and Edgar Strader and Jim Mundy. Fondly remember by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother Cecil Uttley, sister Pauline Mundy and brother-in-law Marshall Gilmore.
Cremation. A memorial service will held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Hensall United Church. Mr. Les Hills officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of one’s choice
