
McDONALD: Peacefully, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, Gordon “Gord” James McDonald of Exeter, age 76. Beloved husband of the late Carolann (Robinson) McDonald. Loving partner of Gloria J. Pear. Father of Gary and Bonnie McDonald of Alberta and Tom McDonald of Delta, BC and their families. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bernadette and Mike Walsh of NFLD, Vivian and Leonard Kilmer of Crediton. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families and Gloria’s Family; son Steven and Ashley, granddaughter Krista and Curtis, grandson Justin, grandson Robert and great-grandchildren Steven Douglas Jr., Chloe and Isabella. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary (Pomeroy) McDonald and siblings and in-laws Edward and Joanne McDonald, Mary Elizabeth McDonald, Gervase “Gerv” and Alice McDonald. At Gord’s request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. A Special Thank You to my granddaughter Krista Hockey, dear friend Beverley Cotes and Gord’s niece Joanne McDonald for being by my side throughout this entire process and to Ruth Erb for all her hair Beauty Treatments. Thank you to the Staff at Jessica’s House for making his stay comfortable and feeling at peace.
