At Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Thursday, December 15, 2016 formerly of Dashwood, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald D. Mason (2003). Dear mother of Larry and Gail Mason of Zurich, Ron and Sofie Mason of Centralia, Bonnie and Jordy Speake of Grand Bend, John and Natalie Mason of Dashwood, Judy Mason and her friend Steve Dennis of London, William Mason, and Doug Mason both of Exeter. Missed by 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Murton and Myrtle Desjardine of Tiverton, and Keith and Grace Desjardine of London; Madeline Desjardine of Exeter and Audrey Desjardine of Atwood. Predeceased by her grandson Jeremy Mason, brothers Harry, Louis, Byron, Herman, Ivan, Iann, and Norris, an infant sister Marion, and her parents Lesume Desjardine (1969) and Ella (Kipfer) (1987). The Desjardine family arrived in Montreal in the 1620s and settled in Grand Bend.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Sunday afternoon 2-4 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Church of God, 8 Gill Road, Grand Bend on Monday, December 19th at 11 AM with Pastor Frank Struth officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
