Suddenly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Friday, December 14, 2007 Mary (Merk) Alice MacDonald of Exeter in her 83rd year. Beloved mother of Beverley and Michael Cregan of Grand Bend, Penny Crawford and Joe Haskett of Exeter, Dennis and Louise MacDonald of Crediton, Sharon and Jim Allen of London, Donna Masse and Jim Leveck of Centralia and Sandra and Ron Dickert of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Patti and Brian Hoffele, Scott Bierling, Stephen Cregan, Crystal and Jamie Heimstra, Greg Cregan, Kent Bierling, Angela Cregan; Greg and Lisa Crawford, Jackie and Eric Plantenga, also grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 38. Sister of Maxine Lamont, Loreen Eagleson, Jim MacDonald and Chuck Woodcock. Special aunt of Dave and Anne Cottle and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Alice MacDonald and siblings Gordon and Ethel MacDonald, Florence and Don Mitton, Lillian Woodcock, Winona and Mac McLeod, Andrea MacDonald, Lorne Lamont, Ted and Edna MacDonald, Don MacDonald and son-in-law Gord Bierling. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18th at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the South Huron Hospital Campaign would be appreciated by the family.
