Suddenly, at her late residence on Thursday, April 7, 2005 Martha (Van Alstine) Webster, formerly of Exeter in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Percy Webster (1996). Dear mother of Mary Farquhar and Wendy and Aubrey Bedard all of Exeter, John and Sandy Webster of Espanola, Bill Webster of Stratford, and Ruby and Wayne Ford of Hay Township. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Edward (1997), 2 infant sons and an infant daughter, sisters Ellen, Jen, Gladys and Mary and brothers Harry and James. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11th at 11 AM at Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle, 670 Main Street South, Exeter with Pastor Vernon Dean officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
