    Dear Charlie, Jim, Barry and Christine

    I was shocked to learn of Peg&&single&&s passing just a few minutes ago (Sunday) and send my deepest sympathy to all of you and your families. I stopped by your house recently to visit Peg while in Seaforth because I was thinking of her but no one was home.

    I thought the world of Peg, especially when I was growing up a few doors away from your family. We had lots of long girl to girl chats on your veranda when I was a teenager. Peg was so approachable and easy to talk with about anything. She was a wonderful role model and incredible lady with a great sense of humour, bubbly personality and a big heart. Wow, I am just so sad and teary right now after hearing this horrible news.

    I wish all of you peace, comfort and cherished memories of Peg. May she rest in peace.

    With Love and Deepest Sympathy
    Diane (Phillips) Clark

    Peg was one of my very first clients when I got into the business and made me really enjoy my job. I always looked forward to our monthly visits which Always included her warm smile, witty charm and a twinkle in her eye. Although we hadnt had a visit in quite some time, I have missed seeing her dearly and she will be greatly missed. She was going tp break me off a chunk of her very large aloe plant in the basement haha! In the time I got to know Peg it was quite obvious that she loved her family very very much and you all meant the world to her. The world would be a better place with more women like her. I am so sorry for your loss but know she will always be remembered and the impact she made on everyone she knew will not be forgotten.

    Dear Charlie, Jim, Barry & Chris and your families,

    This poem was sent to me when my mother passed away. I hope you are able to lean on each other to get through this terrible time.

    A mother&&single&&s love is like an island
    In life&&single&&s ocean vast and wide,
    A peaceful, quiet shelter
    From the restless, rising tide.

    A mother&&single&&s love is like a fortress
    And we seek protection there
    When the waves of tribulation
    Seem to drown us in despair.

    A mother&&single&&s love is a sanctuary
    Where our soul can find sweet rest
    From the struggle and the tension
    Of life&&single&&s fast and futile quest.

    A mother&&single&&s love is like a tower
    Rising far above the crowd,
    And her smile is like the sunshine
    Breaking through a threatening cloud.

    A mother&&single&&s love is like a beacon
    Burning bright with Faith and Prayer
    And through the changing scenes of life
    We can find a haven there….

    For a mother&&single&&s love is fashioned
    After God&&single&&s enduring love,
    It is endless and unfailing
    Like the love of Him above.

    For God knew in His great wisdom
    That he couldn&&single&&t be everywhere,
    So he put His little Children
    In a loving mother&&single&&s care.

    -Helen Steiner Rice, A Mother&&single&&s Love

    Charley and Family – We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Peggy. She was truly a family person and the love of family was so evident every time I would go to the Vet Clinic. She would merrily chat away about Chuck and the kids and the grandkids. She will be missed so much and had to leave entirely too soon. We do hope the memories you have of her will sustain you through this difficult time. Truly, she was a beautiful person – inside and out – and I remember the times we shared at the Vet Clinic – whether it be during the death of a pet or an adoption – she was always there and I am so blessed that I was able to call Peggy – my friend. Hi, I met your wife/mother at the vet clinic at different times in our lives. We recently adopted a dog and had the pleasure of once again dealing with your wife/mother at the vet&&single&&s office. She was always nice to our animals and was especially kind to me. I will miss her when I go to the vet&&single&&s or look for her when we would meet at the grocery store after work.
