At Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 Mabel (MacDonald) Gilfillan formerly of Exeter in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Colin Gilfillan (1979). Dear mother of Bill and Grace Gilfillan of Exeter, Jean and Jack Mahar of London, Donna and Harvey Smith of R.R. #1 Crediton, and Barb and Larry Regier of R.R. #2 Zurich. Dear grandmother of Randy and Carolyn Gilfillan, Wendy Hodgert and Gary Hartman, Sherry and Brion Penhale, Rick and Dody Gilfillan and Tracy and Jeff Mac Vicar; Darlene Mahar and Danny Mahar; Shannon and Ryan Lee, Jason and Kelly Regier, Darryl Regier, Carrie Regier and Rob Volland and Michael Regier and great-grandmother of Chad and Scott; Jody and Amanda; Austin; Blake, Mason and Lane; Michael; Jerome, Keeley, Marcel and Grant; and Sarah. Dear sister-in-law of Daisy Gilfillan of Manitoba.  Predeceased by sons Ronnie and Grant, beloved granddaughter Penny Lynn Smith, a brother Roy MacDonald and a sister Flo (Brooks) Bailey. A private family funeral service will be held at Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William St., one west of Main, Exeter on Thursday, May 15th with Rev. Marilyn Carter officiating.  Interment Exeter Cemetery.   Donations to South Huron Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
