LOVIE: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, on Thursday, February 26, 2015, David George Lovie, recently of Ailsa Craig formerly of Dashwood, age 64. Beloved husband of the late Sally Anne Marie (Schwartz) Lovie (2007). Loved father and father-in-law of Greg Lovie of Dashwood, Kim Lovie and companion Ben Roden of Zurich, Adam Lovie, Jason Lovie both of Dashwood, Elizabeth Lovie and companion Darrell Hiusser of Zurich, Jeffrey Lovie and companion Jackie Issac of Parkhill, Nicole Lovie and companion Kevin Payne of Dashwood. Loving grandpa of Jesse, Alyssa, Leighann, Brody, Courtney, Tanner, Alisha, Rebecca, Jackson, Faith, Gerald, Caden, Mitchell, Cassidy and Heather. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Edward Lovie of Grand Bend, Paul Lovie of Exeter, Laurie and Ted Stanlake of Grand Bend, Bill Lovie of London and Diane Lovie of Centralia. Predeceased by his parents William “Cecil” (1985) and Olive (Shortt) Lovie (2002) and brother Gary Lovie (2008). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. Tracey Whitson-Bahro officiating. Spring Interment Calvary United Church Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
