Hi Judy – This is Dianne, Vesta’s daughter, we just found out today about your Mom’s passing. Mom and Dad spent a lot of time with your parents and Martha and Colin in the “good old days” in Dashwood. Mom sends her sincere condolences to you and your brothers. She sure would have come to Hoffman’s to see you if we knew about it earlier. Our Mom’s spent a lot of time together in her hairdressing shop. Again, so sorry to hear the news!

Most sincerely, Sue and Mike van Baardwyk

Dear Judy: Please accept my sincere condolences of the passing of your mother. Indeed Mrs. Leakey was a special lady and I did enjoy our parent/teacher conferences those many years ago. Certainly a life well-lived. Thinking of my friend Judy and your family at this time.

I wish to pass along my sincere condolences to Ron & Gary in the passing of their Mom. They might recall that my brother Mark and I lived just up the street at 387 Clarke Road. By coincidence a few days ago I made a visit to Clarke Road High School to drop off some memorabilia that I had preserved of school activities during the 1950โs & 1960โs including the words to the school song I wrote to help celebrate the 25th Anniversary. While sitting in the principalโs office I looked out and remembered you guys and your house across the street and the occasional meeting with your Mom. Those were the days!
Peace be with you both!
