All of you have been in our thoughts at your time of loss.
Over the years of growing up together, your Mother was always welcoming whenever I was in your home, Brenda. She had a lovely smile & gracious demeanor despite life’s challenges. She met life with grace & gave of herself to the community. Hensall benefited from her contributions!
    Wonderful to have known her.

Brenda and family – Sincere sympathy in the loss of a dear lady. I got to know her well through Exeter OES Chapter and I had great respect for both she and her husband when he was with us. Although I have not seen Joyce for some years, please know that she will be missed by our Star members. Joyce, was a most delightful lady.

both Frank and I had worked a number of years with Joyce at the canning factory in Exeter.. She was a very sweet lady, a little stubborn, a lot feisty, great worker, and someone who like to look her best and i don’t think i ever saw her without a little lipstick and eye shadow on. My son worked at the canners a couple of times also, and when he was talking about something she did, but couldn’t remember her name, he would say, “you know, the one that looks like an older Barbie doll”. She will definitely be missed. love, deb and frank

We are sad to hear that Joyce passed away. She played shuffleboard with us and you could always count on her for apple pies at our social gatherings. We were also neighbours when we lived on Brookside Street and you know when she invited you for a coffee there would also be sweet treats by the coffee cup. Our sincere sympathy now and in the days ahead. A nice sweet lady in the neighbourhood. RIP Joyce. Bob and Bernice Boogemans

To Brenda and Terry! I was soooo sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing! I have known her through the church for a number of years! We became really great friends while I was caring for my parents! Unfortunately I lost touch with her after her move to Windsor! I do know that she loved your little dog. WHEN I came to visit she always provide coffee cheese crackers cookies and I went home full! She was a kind and caring person who suffered alot of pain! She is now at peace and pain free.
