Suddenly at Stratford General Hospital with her family by her side on Saturday, June 8, 2002 Laurel Jean (Robson) Francis of St. Marys and formerly RR 1 Kirkton in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Ross W. Francis (1996). Dear mother of Stan and Joan Francis and Gerald Francis all of RR 1 Kirkton and Joan and Don Cann of St. Thomas. Dear grandmother of Connie, Steven and Paola, and Jeff and Elise; Marty and Bobbie and Andrea and Tony; and Lianne and John and Darren and Heidi. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Evelyn Bridgeman of Thamesford and Marian and Ray Stewart of Sarnia. Predeceased by a daughter- in- law Helen Francis (1998), a brother Orlin Robson (1932) and a sister Vernetta O’Rourke (2000). Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday 2 -4 and 7 -9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12th at 2:00 PM with Mr. Bob Heywood officiating.
