Peacefully at Jessica’s House, with family by her side on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 of Hensall at the age of 72. Deeply loved wife of Gary Kyle for over 53 years. Beautifully strong mother of Karie-Sue and Rob MacLean of Hensall, and Ryan and Sarah Kyle of London.  Amazing nana of Olivia, Allyson; Winston, and Luke.  Dear sister and sister-in law Barb Ball, Richard and Mary Carter, Bill and Nancy Wells, and Pat Kyle. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family, especially Dan Taylor. Gary, I have been thinking during the past year of all the fun Judy and I had as teens in Clinton. Regrettably, I did not follow through in calling to reminisce with her. Judy was a joyful person and exuded love to all around her.
I am sure you and your family will miss her deeply.

Karie-Sue, Ryan and family(s)…my deepest condolences for the loss of your mother. I was both saddened and surprised as the last time I spoke with her at the Jewellery Box she spoke of others who are suffering and was a vessel of optimism. Judy and I were neighbours on Carling St., during those yeasty days of raising a family. On November 2nd, 1976, the day my father died, Judy called me up on the phone saying, “get yourself down here with the kids; I’m making lunch”. The “lunch” lasted from 9am to 9pm as she held my hand through those dark hours with Shannon and Jeremy. Later in life as a bank teller, especially in Hensall, we would spend 20 minutes chatting like school girls catching up on our growing families. Judy will always have a special spot in my heart as the friend who showed up and stood at my side during difficult times. She never asked for anything but was always giving.
My heart goes out to all of you; I know she’ll be deeply missed. In love & light…Jackie Rowe

    January 13, 2025 at 1:05 PM

    To Gary & family,

Sincere condolences from David, John, and Steve Beer. Three generations of our family have been friends with the Kyles since at least the 1930s. Judy and Gary were longtime friends and Legion colleagues of our mother, who in-turn became fast friends with Judy’s mom at Northcrest. Hensall has definitely lost a bright light – Judy was a friendly and thoughtful person.

    Gary and family:

Judy was our banker for many years and we were blessed to have her to make our banking life a pleasure. When things changed and our local bank was closed, that was the time that we realized how fortune we had been with Judy’s always bright smile and wonderful nature to walk us through the changes that happen in banking. Judy was amazing at her job and always a joy to come in contact with.
Keep your memories of this wonderful, happy lady close to your heart. RIP dear Judy.

She was a hard worker and went above and beyond for all BMO clients and staff. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and showed it each and everyday. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Words just never seem to be enough. Judy has touched so many lives during her time with us. She was amazing dealing with my parents at the bank and my Dad trusted her hands down. He would specifically wait to deal with Judy.
She was a people person for sure and her smile would light up a room along with her quick wit and she would have you smiling in no time.
We loved playing shuffleboard with her at the legion, it was a great way to get through the winter months.
I recall just after she got Lucy (her dog). How we sat on our porch laughing watching her try to get Lucy to go for a walk. It was quite the production . She eventually gave in to Lucy and went back to their porch.
She was fantastic with our grandchildren when they stayed with us. She always spoke to them both and teased them and they loved it, checking out Judy’s porch when we would ride our bikes by, just hoping to see her and wave.
She was a terrific neighbour and friend and it will be very strange to not see her around anymore, but we will speak of her often and remember this genuine , down to earth, special lady. Gary, Karie-Sue, Ryan and families we are keeping you all in our hearts and know she is always with you . Hugs Tam & Markus

I am so incredibly sorry for your families loss. Such a beautiful soul taken too soon. She was and will always be such a special lady to many. My son Nash fell in love with her the minute she first gave him a sucker while in at BMO in Hensall. From then on whether we needed to go to the bank or not he often asked if we could stop in and see Judy. A memory I will always cherish as well as all the stories we heard from the infamous “Book Club Sisters” adventures.

Words can’t describe the heartache that I am feeling. I not only lost a work sister but a true friend. She has left me with so many great memories from all our shenanigans at work with our stuffed fox stole and fake foot to her April Fools jokes that she would get me with every year. We still laughed about all this not more than a few weeks ago when I was to visit her. Judy was a beautiful soul and loved her family so much. I am sure that she is in Heaven dancing with the Angels. RIP my dear friend until we meet again. 💔🥲

    Gary & family,
Judy was such a shining light! I met her first at BMO in Exeter while i worked at Kongskilde over 40 years ago. Then she moved to Hensall BMO, and i moved to a job in Hensall, and i was so so fortunate see her most days at the bank. She was always matching perfectly, shoes, clothes, accessories! Always made me laugh. Was the highlight of many days for me. We always drove the kids past the house at Christmas to see half of Santa hanging out the top window!
She fought an amazing courageous battle and now is at peace. I am sure there will be many great stories told in the coming days to help you find comfort.
She always spoke highly of her family and her love for them. She will be truly missed.
