
KING: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Monday, September 5, 2016, Joyce Constance (Mellor) King of Southcott Pines, Grand Bend, formerly of St. Thomas (Union), age 90. Joyce was born in Manchester, England, May 2, 1926 to Robert and Bertha (Borrett) Mellor. She came to Canada in 1958 where she met and married William E. โBillโ King in 1959. Joyce is survived by her daughter Aileen Murray (Mark) of Chatham and son Robert of Grand Bend. She is loved and remembered by grandchildren Andrew, Lauren and Sean Murray. She is fondly remembered by her nephews and nieces, Roger (Arlene) Basson, Ian (Jan) Basson, Helen Basson (Glen Soulis) and Julie Seaton (Bill). Predeceased by her husband Dr. William E. โBillโ King (1999), sister Jeanne (Mellor) and brother-in-law Gerald Basson. Joyce loved art, music, theatre, travel and a good book. She also had a special place in her heart for dachshunds (Colonel and Princess Clara). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11 am. The Ven.
