Beloved husband for 73 years of Alice (Simpson) Thompson. Dear father of Ivan Thompson of Exeter and Douglas and Marilyn (Eaton) Thompson of RR 1 Lucan. Dear grandfather of Kelly Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Christine (Thompson) Phinnemore and Jeremiah Phinnemore and great-grandfather of Lorelai Phinnemore. Dear brother of Olwyn Richardson and brother-in-law of Anne Thompson. Predeceased by a sister Mona Skinner and brothers Ogle and Clinton Thompson. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12th at 11 AM with Rev. Kathy Wreford officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lucan United Church or the charity of your choice. A Masonic Service will be held in the funeral home Friday evening at 6:45 PM under the auspices of Craig Lodge #574 A.F. & A.M. (formerly Irving Lodge #154 A.F. & A.M.).
