Ed proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 20 years as a skilled mechanic. His passion for fixing things extended well beyond his time in uniform—he loved working on vehicles, always eager to get under the hood and solve a problem. In his downtime, Ed enjoyed relaxing at home, often found at his computer, reading a good book, or playing a game of cards. Whether he was tinkering around the house or unwinding with a favourite pastime, Ed brought patience, curiosity, and quiet joy to the everyday moments of life.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street, Exeter on Sunday, June 15th from 2 – 4 PM. Cremation to follow with a private graveside at Forest Lawn Cemetery, London at a later date.
Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society in Ed’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
