KARVAS: It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Mrs. Maria Karvas in her 84rd year on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Szombathely, Hungary. She was surrounded by her devoted husband Frank and two sisters Eva and Gitti. It was God’s will that Maria’s life journey began and ended in Hungary. She is deeply mourned by her loving husband Frank Karvas, her daughter Rita Bajzat, her son Zoltan Karvas and grandson Andre Bajzat. Maria will be deeply missed by her sisters, brother and friends in Hungary, close neighbours in Grand Bend, dear friends in London and her circle of friends in the Hungarian “Barati Kor”. A celebration of Maria’s life will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 377 Oakland Avenue (at Dundas Street) London, Ontario on Friday, June 6th at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in Maria’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
