June (Rutledge) Hillen

At Sakura House, Woodstock on Monday, August 20, 2012 formerly of Exeter in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Ernest Hillen (1996).  Dear mother of Marilyn and John Stewart of Woodstock, Mary Hillen of London and Peter and Sandra Hillen of Guelph.  Dear grandmother of Pamela; Jennifer and Derek; Jessica, Daniel, Jolisa and Andrea.  Dear sister of Lillian Hillen of Alberta.  Predeceased by her daughter Lorraine Hillen (2000), son Andy Hillen (2000), twin brother John and sisters Ethel Smith, Marion McChesnie and Alberta Cockell.

Thank you to Dr. Fryer and the wonderful volunteers and nursing staff at Sakura House for their exceptional care.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street (1 street west of Main), Exeter one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held on Friday, August 24th at 11 AM with Rev. Paul Ross officiating.

Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.

Donations to VON Sakura House would be appreciated by the family.

    Please accept our condolences on the loss of Mrs. Hillen. She was a wonderful friend to Maxine. I learned to play golf with her at Exeter, ON and would look to sign up to play with her and her friends as I enjoyed them so very much. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
