Peacefully, at Clinton Public Hospital, on Saturday, July 3, 2004, Edith Catherine (Ramsey) Johnston, of Bayfield, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Elmer Johnston of Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall. Loved stepmother and mother-in-law of Linda Neeley and her husband Ken of Blenheim, Flora Beatty, Joyce Jones and her husband Lee Sherwood, Ardith Blanchard and her husband Gordon Little, Muriel Tingley and her husband Mel all of new Brunswick and Pat Johnston of London. Survived by 10 step grandchildren and 12 step great-grandchildren and 4 step great great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one stepson Roy Johnston. Cremation.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at 2p.m. in Bayfield United Church. Rev Charles Love officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made Canadian Cancer Society, Queensway Nursing or a charity of choice.
