Beloved wife of the late Roy Wilfred Johnson (1995). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Marie and Bob Hewitt of Embro, Bruce and Janet Johnson of Ilderton, Sharon and Patrick Keogh of London. Cherished grandma of Jeff Hewitt (Zoja), Andy Hewitt (Jill), Kevin Johnson (Janet), Doug Johnson (Susie), Diane Spargo (Adam), Bryan Keogh, Lauren Keogh and Brent Keogh. Treasured great-grandma of Cameron and Steven Johnson, Preston and Nash Hewitt, Sam and Charlotte Johnson, Olivia and Callan Spargo. Dear sister-in-law of Barbara Gofton of Orillia. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Vernon and Jessie (Farrow) Gofton, brothers Howard (Gladys “Glenn”) and Ivan Gofton, sister-in-law Helen (Andrew) Graham, brothers-in-law Harold (Emily), Carl (Frances), Arnold (Maud) Johnson. Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road, London, on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 7 to 9, where the Funeral Service will be held, on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10 a.m., with visitation commencing at 9 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher Officiating. Interment North Embro Cemetery. Evelyn was a Graduate of Brantford General Hospital. Roy and Evelyn operated the R. W. Johnson Funeral and Furniture business in Embro for 22 years. She was a member of Zorra Rebekah Lodge # 250, a member of the Grand Bend U.C.W. and the Embro Knox United Church U.C.W.
