Suddenly, in Cuba on Friday, October 31, 2008 John (Jack) Hern of London and formerly of Exeter in his 78th year. Beloved husband of D. Jean (Alexander) Hern. Dear father of Cheryl and Arnold Redegeld of Exeter, Debra and Jim McCann of RR 3 Dashwood, Karen and Casey Zeehuisen of Exeter, John Hern and Bill and Stacey Hern all of Barrie. Dear grandfather of Todd and Kendra, and Garrett; Ben and Melissa, Adam and Krista and Jesse and Denise; Laura and Shaun and Mitchell, Sarah, Chelsey and Craig; and Maggie, Casey and Julius and his 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Alma Dobson and brothers Ward, Earl, Philip and Ken Hern. A memorial service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Friday, November 21st at 11 AM with Rev. Sheila Macgregor officiating. Cremation with inurnment Exeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
