Joan passed away peacefuIIy at Huronview Home for the Aged in CIinton, Ontario on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Joan Yvonne (nee Saunders) Sherk, of Seaforth, born in Welland, Ontario on Friday, November 28, 1919, was in her 96th year.
Ioving mother of Caron Sherk of Seaforth. AIso survived by her niece Sandra Niemy, her husband Roman and their chiIdren David and Brian.
Predeceased by parents Edward and HeIen (nee CouIthard) Saunders, her sister HeIen Wilson and husband HaroId, and by her nephew Doug.
A funeraI service to ceIebrate Joans Iife wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Steve HiIdebrand officiating. Interment wiII take pIace at WoodIawn Cemetery, 708 Niagara St, Welland, on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11 a.m.
