Peacefully passed away at LHSC-University Hospital, London on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, of London, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Dennis Sharman (1995). Dear mother and mother-in-law of Sandra and Court Carmichael of Ilderton and Dennis and Kathy Sharman of Binbrook. Grandmother of James (Rhonda), Brent (Lorie), Tracie (Adam), Adam and Jason. Great-grandmother of Brienne, Caelan, Brendan and Calvin. Also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Alf and Carol Leeson of Langley, B.C., sister-in-law Jean Leeson of London and several nieces and nephews. Joan will be dearly missed by her close friends Ray Hotham and Annie Lyttle. Predeceased by her parents Alfred Leeson and Vera Fenn, sister Peggy Sullivan, brother Keith Leeson, brother-in-law Paul Sullivan and daughter-in-law Ruth.
At Joan’s request, there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, London.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

So sorry to read of your mother’s passing, I know the last few years life has been a challenge for her and you must feel some comfort to know she is at peace but death still leaves a sorrowful time and may it help to know others are keeping you in their thoughts and prayers.
